Pizza sliders are my go to recipe when I need a fun lunch or a snack for game day. Everyone loves the combination of soft dinner rolls, melty mozzarella, and savory pepperoni tucked inside.

My best tip for these is to brush the tops of the rolls with a little garlic butter before baking. It makes the crust golden and gives them a delicious flavor that really pulls everything together.

Ingredients

  • 1 package Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 20 slices pepperoni
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

  2. 2

Keep the rolls attached and slice the entire slab in half horizontally to create a top and bottom layer.

  3. 3

Place the bottom half of the rolls in a baking dish.

  4. 4

Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the bottom layer of rolls.

  5. 5

Top the sauce with half of the shredded mozzarella cheese.

  6. 6

Arrange the pepperoni slices in a single layer over the cheese.

  7. 7

Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella on top and place the top half of the rolls back on.

  8. 8

Mix the melted butter, garlic powder, and dried parsley in a small bowl.

  9. 9

Brush the butter mixture over the tops of the rolls.

  10. 10

Cover the dish with foil and bake for 10 minutes.

  11. 11

Remove the foil and bake for another 5 to 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.

๐Ÿ’ก Tips

These are best served warm straight from the oven. If you have leftovers, store them in the fridge in an airtight container and reheat them in the oven or air fryer to keep the buns from getting soggy.
