Nothing says celebration like a big bowl of this colorful snack mix. It is so easy to put together and always a hit with the kids during fireworks or backyard gatherings.

My favorite thing about this recipe is how quickly it comes together when you have a crowd coming over. Just be sure to let the chocolate set completely before you try to break it apart for serving.

Ingredients

  • 8 cups popped popcorn
  • 1 cup mini pretzels
  • 1 cup red white and blue M&Ms
  • 12 ounces white chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. 1

Spread the popped popcorn and mini pretzels out in an even layer on a large rimmed baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  2. 2

Melt the white chocolate chips with the vegetable oil in a microwave safe bowl using thirty second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.

  3. 3

Drizzle the melted white chocolate evenly over the popcorn and pretzels.

  4. 4

Sprinkle the red, white, and blue M&Ms over the top while the chocolate is still wet.

  5. 5

Place the tray in the refrigerator for about twenty minutes to help the chocolate harden.

  6. 6

Break the mixture into smaller chunks once firm and serve immediately.

๐Ÿ’ก Tips

Store any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature to keep the popcorn fresh and crunchy for a few days. If it is a very hot day, keep the snack in the fridge until you are ready to serve so the chocolate does not get too sticky.
