There is something so comforting about the flavor of classic birthday cake. It reminds me of childhood parties and fun afternoons spent with friends. This milkshake brings that sweet, festive feeling right into your own kitchen with just a few simple ingredients.

You do not need a fancy blender to get this right. The secret is using a good quality vanilla ice cream as your base. Feel free to add extra sprinkles if you really want to lean into the party theme for your family or guests.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups high quality vanilla ice cream
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons rainbow sprinkles
  • 2 crushed Little Debbie birthday cake snack cakes
  • Whipped cream for topping

Instructions

  1. 1

Add the vanilla ice cream, milk, and vanilla extract into your blender jar.

  2. 2

Pulse the mixture a few times until it starts to look smooth.

  3. 3

Add the crushed snack cakes and half of the rainbow sprinkles to the blender.

  4. 4

Blend on high speed for about thirty seconds or until everything is well combined and creamy.

  5. 5

Pour the milkshake into a tall glass.

  6. 6

Top with a generous amount of whipped cream and the remaining sprinkles.

๐Ÿ’ก Tips

You can chill your glass in the freezer for ten minutes before pouring to keep the shake cold longer. If you have any leftovers, pour them into an ice cube tray and freeze them to use as a base for your next milkshake.
