There is something so satisfying about making your own snacks at home. This honey salted nut bark is one of my favorite go to recipes because it uses simple pantry staples and comes together in just a few minutes of active prep time.

I love keeping a batch of this in the freezer for whenever I have a sweet tooth. If you want to make it extra special, feel free to add a pinch of flaky sea salt right before you pop the tray into the oven.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups mixed raw nuts like almonds, walnuts, and cashews
  • 1/2 cup raw seeds like pumpkin or sunflower seeds
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips for drizzling

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat your oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. 2

In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, coconut oil, and salt.

  3. 3

Place the nuts and seeds in a large mixing bowl and pour the honey mixture over them. Toss until everything is well coated.

  4. 4

Spread the mixture into an even layer on the prepared baking sheet.

  5. 5

Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until the nuts are golden and fragrant. Watch them closely so they do not burn.

  6. 6

Remove from the oven and let the bark cool completely on the pan.

  7. 7

Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave in short bursts, then drizzle it over the cooled bark. Place the tray in the fridge for 10 minutes to set the chocolate before breaking it into pieces.

๐Ÿ’ก Tips

Store your bark in an airtight container in the fridge or freezer to keep the nuts extra crunchy. You can swap the nuts for any variety you have on hand, just make sure they are raw for the best texture.
