Quick and Easy Four Ingredient Halloween Treats
Get into the holiday spirit with these four adorable Halloween treats that require zero baking.
dailyrecipesbook.comWhen Halloween rolls around, I love making these simple snacks that look impressive but take hardly any effort. They are perfect for classroom parties or a fun afternoon activity with the kids at home.
My favorite thing about this collection is that you only need a handful of store bought ingredients to pull them together. I suggest setting everything out in bowls before you start so you can assemble them in no time.
Ingredients
- 12 chocolate sandwich cookies
- 12 miniature peanut butter cups
- 12 chocolate kisses
- 1 package pretzel sticks
- 1 package string cheese
- 1 small tube of orange decorating icing
- 1 bag candy eyeballs
Instructions
- 1
To make monster eyeballs, use a dot of icing to stick a candy eyeball onto the flat side of a chocolate kiss.
- 2
For witch hats, put a small amount of icing on the bottom of a peanut butter cup and press it onto the center of a sandwich cookie.
- 3
To create witch brooms, cut a piece of string cheese into thirds and fringe the bottom edges with a knife, then insert a pretzel stick into the top.
- 4
For bat bites, split a sandwich cookie in half, break one half into two pieces, and press them into the cream filling of the other half to look like wings.
- 5
Arrange your finished treats on a platter and serve them immediately to your guests.
๐ก Tips
Store any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature to keep the cookies crisp. You can involve your kids by letting them place the candy eyes or assemble the witch hats themselves.
