If you love a dessert that looks impressive but takes very little effort, this cherry cheesecake lush is for you. It is a family favorite because it combines rich cheesecake flavors with sweet, tart cherries, all packed into a beautiful dish that feeds a crowd.

Since this is a no bake recipe, it is wonderful for those warm summer days or busy holidays when your oven is already full. I always recommend letting it chill for the full time so the layers set up perfectly for clean slices.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup melted salted butter
  • 2 boxes (3.9 ounce size) instant cheesecake pudding mix
  • 3 cups whole milk
  • 2 cans (21 ounce size) cherry pie filling
  • 1 container (8 ounce size) thawed whipped topping

Instructions

  1. 1

In a large bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter until the texture feels like damp sand.

  2. 2

Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish and place it in the refrigerator to chill for at least 30 minutes.

  3. 3

In a separate bowl, whisk together the instant cheesecake pudding mix and milk for about 2 minutes until the mixture is thick and smooth.

  4. 4

Spread the cheesecake pudding mixture evenly over your chilled graham cracker crust.

  5. 5

Spoon the cherry pie filling carefully over the pudding layer and spread it out gently.

  6. 6

Spread the whipped topping over the cherry layer, cover the dish, and refrigerate for at least 3 hours before you are ready to serve.

๐Ÿ’ก Tips

Store any leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to three days. For a nice crunch, sprinkle a little extra graham cracker crust or some slivered almonds on top right before you slice and serve.
