These bars are a childhood favorite of mine because they are so easy to put together. You just layer all the ingredients in a pan and let the oven do the hard work for you. Everyone loves the combination of toasted coconut and melted chocolate.

My top tip is to line your baking pan with parchment paper before you start. It makes lifting the bars out so much easier once they have cooled down completely.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips
  • 1 cup shredded sweetened coconut
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

  2. 2

Pour the melted butter into a 9x13 inch baking pan and sprinkle the graham cracker crumbs over the top, pressing them down to form an even crust.

  3. 3

Sprinkle the chocolate chips over the crust in an even layer.

  4. 4

Add the butterscotch chips on top of the chocolate chips.

  5. 5

Scatter the shredded coconut over the chips.

  6. 6

Add the chopped pecans as the next layer.

  7. 7

Drizzle the sweetened condensed milk evenly over everything in the pan.

  8. 8

Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until the edges are golden brown.

  9. 9

Let the bars cool completely in the pan before cutting them into squares.

๐Ÿ’ก Tips

Store these bars in an airtight container at room temperature for up to five days. You can also keep them in the fridge if you prefer a firmer texture. These go perfectly with a cold glass of milk.
