Classic American Flag Sheet Cake
A festive and fluffy vanilla sheet cake topped with creamy frosting and fresh berries to make a beautiful flag design.
dailyrecipesbook.comThis sheet cake is the perfect centerpiece for any summer gathering. Everyone loves how moist and soft the vanilla sponge turns out, especially when paired with a rich cream cheese frosting that balances the sweetness of the fresh fruit.
Since this recipe is baked in a large cookie sheet, it is my go to choice whenever I have a crowd coming over. It is very simple to assemble, and you can easily change up the fruit pattern if you want to use it for birthdays or other holidays.

Arrange the blueberries in the top left corner to form the blue field and use the strawberry slices to create stripes across the rest of the cake.
๐ก Tips
Store any leftovers in the refrigerator because of the cream cheese frosting. If you want to make this ahead of time, bake and frost the cake, but wait to add the fresh berries until just before serving so they stay bright and firm.
