If you love the classic Marry Me Chicken, you are going to adore this pasta version. It uses those same wonderful ingredients like sun dried tomatoes and plenty of parmesan cheese to create a sauce that is truly special.

This recipe is perfect for when you want a dinner that feels fancy but actually comes together in minutes. My favorite tip is to save a little bit of the pasta water to stir into the sauce if it gets too thick.

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces pasta of your choice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup sun dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook your pasta according to the package directions.

  2. 2

While the pasta cooks, heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.

  3. 3

Add the minced garlic, sun dried tomatoes, oregano, and red pepper flakes to the pan. Cook for about two minutes until the garlic is fragrant.

  4. 4

Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer. Let it cook for three minutes so it thickens slightly.

  5. 5

Stir in the parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and melted.

  6. 6

Drain the pasta and add it directly into the sauce. Toss everything together until the noodles are well coated.

  7. 7

Season with salt and pepper to your taste, then sprinkle the fresh basil over the top before serving.

๐Ÿ’ก Tips

Leftovers store beautifully in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. You can add a splash of water or cream when reheating to keep the sauce nice and creamy. Serve this with a crisp green salad or some toasted garlic bread on the side.
