There is something truly special about the combination of salty peanut butter and dark chocolate. This pie is a favorite in my house because it tastes like a fancy dessert but takes very little effort to pull together.

My best advice is to make sure your cream cheese is completely soft before you start mixing. It makes the filling much smoother and avoids any lumps in your final slice.

Ingredients

  • 24 Oreo cookies
  • 5 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream

Instructions

  1. 1

Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a bag and using a rolling pin.

  2. 2

Mix the cookie crumbs with the melted butter in a bowl and press the mixture firmly into the bottom and sides of a nine inch pie dish.

  3. 3

Chill the crust in the freezer for about ten minutes to help it set while you prepare the filling.

  4. 4

In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and peanut butter together until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

  5. 5

Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, then beat again until well combined.

  6. 6

In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.

  7. 7

Gently fold the whipped cream into the peanut butter mixture until it is light and fluffy.

  8. 8

Spread the filling evenly into the prepared crust and refrigerate the pie for at least four hours before serving.

๐Ÿ’ก Tips

Store your leftover pie in the refrigerator for up to three days. For a little extra flair, you can top each slice with a drizzle of melted chocolate or some extra crushed cookies right before serving.
