If you love Caesar salad and crispy tacos, you are going to adore this easy dinner. We press the chicken mixture right into the tortilla so it gets perfectly golden and crunchy in the pan. It is a fantastic way to change up your taco night routine.

My best tip for success is to use a really hot skillet so the cheese gets nice and brown. If you want a little extra zing, add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice over the top just before you serve them.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 8 small flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups chopped romaine lettuce
  • 1/2 cup Caesar salad dressing
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter or oil for the pan

Instructions

  1. 1

In a bowl, mix the ground chicken with the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

  2. 2

Lay out the tortillas and spread a thin layer of the raw chicken mixture across each one, pressing it all the way to the edges.

  3. 3

Heat a large skillet over medium high heat and melt a little butter or oil.

  4. 4

Place the tortillas chicken side down in the skillet and cook for about three to four minutes until the chicken is browned and crispy.

  5. 5

Flip the tacos over and sprinkle the mozzarella or parmesan cheese onto the cooked chicken side.

  6. 6

Cover the pan for one minute to let the cheese melt, then remove the tacos from the heat.

  7. 7

Top each taco with the chopped romaine lettuce, a drizzle of Caesar dressing, and an extra sprinkle of grated parmesan cheese.

๐Ÿ’ก Tips

Serve these right away while the tortillas are still crisp. If you have leftovers, keep the lettuce and dressing separate so the tacos do not get soggy in the fridge.
