There is something so comforting about a warm sandwich that pulls apart with gooey, melted cheese. These turkey sliders are a favorite in my house because they come together in minutes and disappear even faster.

My top tip is to brush the tops with a little melted butter and garlic powder before they hit the oven. It gives the rolls a beautiful golden crust and adds a wonderful flavor that ties the whole sandwich together.

Ingredients

  • 1 package of 12 slider rolls
  • 12 slices of deli turkey breast
  • 6 slices of Swiss or cheddar cheese, halved
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

  2. 2

Slice the entire block of slider rolls in half horizontally so you have a top slab and a bottom slab.

  3. 3

Place the bottom slab of rolls into a greased baking dish.

  4. 4

Spread the mayonnaise and mustard over the bottom rolls.

  5. 5

Layer the deli turkey evenly over the rolls and top with the cheese slices.

  6. 6

Place the top half of the rolls over the cheese.

  7. 7

Whisk the melted butter, garlic powder, and parsley together in a small bowl.

  8. 8

Brush the butter mixture generously over the tops of the rolls.

  9. 9

Cover the dish with foil and bake for 10 minutes.

  10. 10

Remove the foil and bake for another 5 minutes until the rolls are golden and the cheese is melted.

๐Ÿ’ก Tips

These sliders are best served warm straight from the oven. If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the fridge and reheat them in the oven for a few minutes to keep the rolls from getting soggy.
