Easy Bang Bang Chicken Skewers
Tender chicken skewers drizzled with a creamy and slightly spicy sauce that everyone will love.
dailyrecipesbook.comThese skewers are a favorite at my house because they are simple to make but taste like something you would get at a fancy restaurant. The chicken stays nice and juicy while the sauce adds that perfect kick of sweetness and heat.
I like to serve these at parties, but they also work great for a quick weeknight dinner. If you want to make them ahead, just prep the sauce and marinate the chicken in the morning so you are ready to grill come dinnertime.
Ingredients
- 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts cut into bite sized pieces
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon sriracha
- 1 tablespoon honey
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- 1
Preheat your grill or indoor grill pan to medium high heat.
- 2
Toss the chicken pieces in a bowl with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until well coated.
- 3
Thread the chicken pieces onto wooden or metal skewers.
- 4
Cook the skewers for about 3 to 4 minutes per side until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through.
- 5
While the chicken cooks, whisk the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and honey together in a small bowl until smooth.
- 6
Arrange the skewers on a plate and drizzle the sauce generously over the top before adding green onions.
๐ก Tips
Store any leftover sauce in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. If you are using wooden skewers, remember to soak them in water for at least twenty minutes before cooking so they do not burn on the grill.
