Easy BBQ Pulled Pork Sliders
These sliders are the perfect way to turn leftover pulled pork into a crowd pleasing meal in no time.
dailyrecipesbook.comThere is nothing quite like a warm slider to make a casual dinner feel like a party. These BBQ pork sliders are always a hit because they get so buttery and crispy in the oven while the cheese melts into the sauce perfectly.
I love making these when I have leftover meat from a weekend barbecue. If you do not have leftovers, you can easily grab some good quality shredded pork from the deli or store to make this happen even faster.
Ingredients
- 12 slider buns
- 2 cups cooked pulled pork
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 6 slices cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- 1
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- 2
Slice the entire pack of slider buns in half horizontally so you have a top slab and a bottom slab.
- 3
Place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
- 4
Mix the pulled pork with the barbecue sauce in a bowl, then spread it evenly over the bottom buns.
- 5
Layer the cheese slices over the pork and place the top bun slab over everything.
- 6
Whisk the melted butter with the parsley and garlic powder, then brush the mixture all over the tops of the buns.
- 7
Cover the dish with foil and bake for 15 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for another 5 minutes until the tops are golden and the cheese is bubbly.
- 8
Slice into individual sliders and serve warm.
๐ก Tips
These are best served right out of the oven while the buns are still buttery. If you have leftovers, wrap them in foil and store them in the fridge for a day or two, then warm them in the oven to get that crispy texture back.
