If you need a quick meal that everyone will love, these cheeseburger sliders are the answer. They have all the classic flavor of a big burger, but they are much easier to serve when you have company coming over.

My favorite thing about this recipe is how soft the rolls get while the cheese melts perfectly inside. Be sure to brush the tops with plenty of butter to get that nice golden finish.

Ingredients

  • 12 pack of Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 onion, finely diced
  • 6 slices cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

  2. 2

Brown the ground beef and diced onion in a large skillet over medium heat until the meat is cooked through.

  3. 3

Drain the extra fat, then stir in the garlic powder and Worcestershire sauce.

  4. 4

Slice the entire pack of Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally so you have a top slab and a bottom slab.

  5. 5

Place the bottom slab in a baking dish and spread the cooked beef mixture evenly over the rolls.

  6. 6

Lay the slices of cheddar cheese over the beef.

  7. 7

Place the top half of the rolls over the cheese.

  8. 8

Brush the tops of the rolls with melted butter and sprinkle them with sesame seeds.

  9. 9

Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.

  10. 10

Slice between the rolls and serve warm.

๐Ÿ’ก Tips

These are best served fresh, but you can wrap leftovers in foil and reheat them in a low oven. Add pickles or mustard inside the sliders before baking if you like an extra zing.
