If you have ever tried a grinder sandwich, you know how addictive that mix of savory meats and tangy slaw can be. These sliders take all those classic deli flavors and put them into soft Hawaiian rolls that are just the right size for grabbing and going.

My favorite thing about this recipe is how quickly it comes together for a hungry crowd. Just make sure to add the lettuce and peppers right before serving so everything stays crisp and fresh.

Ingredients

  • 12 sweet Hawaiian rolls
  • 6 slices provolone cheese
  • 4 ounces sliced salami
  • 4 ounces sliced pepperoni
  • 4 ounces sliced ham
  • 1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 cup sliced banana peppers
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

  2. 2

Slice the entire sheet of Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally to create one big top piece and one big bottom piece.

  3. 3

Place the bottom half of the rolls in a baking dish and layer on the ham, salami, pepperoni, and provolone cheese.

  4. 4

Place the top half of the rolls over the meat and cheese, then brush the tops with melted butter.

  5. 5

Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until the rolls are golden and the cheese is melted.

  6. 6

While the sliders bake, mix the shredded lettuce with mayonnaise, red wine vinegar, and oregano in a small bowl.

  7. 7

Once the sliders are done, carefully lift the top buns off, add the dressed lettuce and banana peppers, replace the tops, and cut into individual sliders to serve.

๐Ÿ’ก Tips

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two days. If you want a little extra heat, feel free to add a dash of red pepper flakes to the slaw mixture.
