There is nothing quite like a simple meal that cooks all in one pan. This recipe is a favorite in my house because it is filling, flavorful, and makes cleaning up afterwards a total breeze.

You will love how the potatoes get nice and crispy while the cabbage caramelizes perfectly alongside the smoky sausage. A little drizzle of creamy Dijon sauce at the end ties everything together beautifully. It is a great way to feed the whole family without spending hours in the kitchen.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound smoked sausage, sliced into rounds
  • 1 pound baby potatoes, halved
  • 1 small head green cabbage, chopped into bite sized pieces
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon sour cream

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

  2. 2

Place the sliced sausage, halved potatoes, and chopped cabbage onto a large sheet pan.

  3. 3

Drizzle the olive oil over the top and sprinkle with garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.

  4. 4

Toss everything together until the vegetables and sausage are well coated, then spread them out in a single layer.

  5. 5

Roast in the oven for about 25 to 30 minutes, tossing halfway through, until the potatoes are tender and the cabbage is golden.

  6. 6

While the pan roasts, whisk together the Dijon mustard and sour cream in a small bowl.

  7. 7

Remove the pan from the oven, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, and drizzle the creamy Dijon sauce over the top before serving.

๐Ÿ’ก Tips

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. This dish is great on its own, but you can also serve it with a side of crusty bread to soak up the sauce.
