This one pan dumpling dinner is so popular for a reason because it is fast and tastes delicious. You get those perfectly crispy bottoms on the dumplings while the vegetables steam until they are tender and bright.

My best tip is to use a nonstick skillet so nothing gets stuck to the bottom of the pan. It makes cleanup a breeze and keeps your dumplings looking perfect for serving.

Ingredients

  • 12 frozen potstickers or dumplings
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 sliced bell pepper
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds
  • 2 sliced green onions

Instructions

  1. 1

Heat the vegetable oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat.

  2. 2

Place the frozen dumplings in the pan in a single layer and cook for 3 minutes until the bottoms turn golden brown.

  3. 3

Carefully pour the water into the pan and immediately cover it with a lid to steam the dumplings for 5 minutes.

  4. 4

Remove the lid and add the broccoli and bell peppers to the pan.

  5. 5

Stir the vegetables and dumplings together for another 3 minutes until the veggies are tender.

  6. 6

Drizzle the soy sauce, sesame oil, and honey over the mixture and toss everything to coat.

  7. 7

Serve immediately topped with sesame seeds and green onions.

๐Ÿ’ก Tips

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two days. Reheat them in a skillet over low heat to keep the dumpling skins from getting mushy. You can also add a squeeze of fresh lime juice right before eating for a bright finish.
