Nothing says summer quite like the combination of chocolate, graham crackers, and toasted marshmallows. This festive bark takes those nostalgic s'mores flavors and dresses them up for your holiday celebration with a fun red, white, and blue theme.

It is the perfect treat to bring to a backyard barbecue because it comes together quickly and does not require turning on your oven. Try using a mix of milk and dark chocolate to get a nice depth of flavor in every bite.

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 4 full size graham crackers, broken into bite sized pieces
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1/4 cup red, white, and blue sprinkles
  • 1/4 cup red and blue candy coated chocolates

Instructions

  1. 1

Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper to keep the bark from sticking.

  2. 2

Melt the chocolate chips in a heatproof bowl using the microwave, heating in thirty second intervals and stirring until smooth.

  3. 3

Pour the melted chocolate onto your prepared baking sheet and spread it out into an even layer with a spatula.

  4. 4

While the chocolate is still warm, scatter the graham cracker pieces and mini marshmallows across the top.

  5. 5

Finish by sprinkling the candy coated chocolates and the patriotic sprinkles over the entire surface.

  6. 6

Place the tray in the refrigerator for at least one hour until the chocolate is completely firm.

  7. 7

Once set, break the bark into irregular pieces with your hands and enjoy.

๐Ÿ’ก Tips

Store your leftover bark in an airtight container in the fridge to keep the chocolate snappy and fresh. If you live in a very warm climate, keep it chilled until the very last second before serving so it does not melt while sitting outside.
