There is something so special about the combination of sweet white chocolate and rich caramel. This fudge captures the essence of a crisp autumn day in every single bite, and it is surprisingly simple to make for family or friends.

My favorite thing about this recipe is how it balances the tart hint of apple with the buttery sweetness of the caramel swirls. If you have a little extra time, try cooling it completely in the fridge before cutting so you get those perfect, clean squares.

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces high quality white chocolate chips
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider extract or flavoring
  • 1/2 cup thick caramel sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

  1. 1

Line an eight inch square baking pan with parchment paper and set it aside.

  2. 2

In a heavy bottomed saucepan, melt the white chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk over low heat, stirring constantly until the mixture is smooth.

  3. 3

Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the apple cider extract.

  4. 4

Pour half of the white chocolate mixture into your prepared pan and spread it out evenly.

  5. 5

Drizzle half of the caramel sauce over the fudge and use a knife to gently swirl it through the white chocolate.

  6. 6

Pour the remaining white chocolate mixture on top and add the rest of the caramel sauce, swirling it once more with your knife.

  7. 7

Sprinkle the top with a pinch of sea salt.

  8. 8

Place the pan in the refrigerator for at least three hours or until the fudge is firm enough to slice into pieces.

๐Ÿ’ก Tips

Store your fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator to keep it firm and fresh for up to two weeks. You can also wrap individual pieces in wax paper to hand out as sweet gifts to neighbors.
