There is nothing quite like a warm brownie when you need a little comfort. These gluten free treats are so rich and gooey that nobody will even guess they are made without regular flour.

My best tip is to avoid overbaking them. Pull them out of the oven when the edges are set but the center still looks just a tiny bit soft for that perfect fudgy texture.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup gluten free all purpose flour blend
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and grease an 8 inch square baking pan.

  2. 2

In a large bowl, whisk the melted butter and sugar together until well combined.

  3. 3

Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the bowl, then whisk until smooth.

  4. 4

Stir in the gluten free flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder until the batter is uniform.

  5. 5

Fold in the chocolate chips gently.

  6. 6

Pour the batter into your prepared pan and spread it out evenly.

  7. 7

Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the edges are firm.

  8. 8

Let the brownies cool completely in the pan before cutting them into squares.

๐Ÿ’ก Tips

Store these brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days. If you want them to taste freshly baked, pop a square in the microwave for ten seconds before serving.
