S’mores Brownies
These brownies combine a crunchy graham cracker base, melted chocolate, and toasted marshmallows for a perfect campfire treat without the fire.
dailyrecipesbook.comThere is something special about the combination of graham crackers, chocolate, and marshmallows. These brownies capture all those nostalgic campfire flavors in one easy dessert that you can bake right in your own kitchen.
My family loves these because they are super fudgy and fun to share. Just remember to keep a close eye on the oven when you broil the marshmallows, as they can turn from golden to burnt in just a few seconds.
Ingredients
- 6 sheets graham crackers
- 6 milk chocolate bars (1.55 ounces each)
- 1 box brownie mix (plus required eggs, oil, and water)
- 1 bag (12 ounces) large marshmallows
Instructions
- 1
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- 2
Grease a 9 by 9 inch baking pan with cooking spray and line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
- 3
Place a single layer of graham crackers across the bottom of your prepared pan.
- 4
Arrange the chocolate bars in an even layer on top of the graham crackers.
- 5
Prepare your brownie mix in a large bowl according to the instructions on the box.
- 6
Pour the brownie batter over the chocolate bars and spread it out evenly.
- 7
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the brownies are set.
- 8
Remove the pan from the oven and top the brownies with the marshmallows.
- 9
Switch your oven to the broil setting and place the pan back inside for 1 to 2 minutes. Watch them very closely so the marshmallows toast to a nice golden brown without burning.
- 10
Let the brownies cool completely before you slice them into squares.
💡 Tips
Store these in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days to keep them soft. If you need to keep them longer, you can refrigerate them for 5 days or freeze them for up to 2 months. When serving from the freezer, just let them thaw on the counter or warm them briefly in the microwave for that fresh baked taste.
