You will love how easy it is to whip up these treats. Since they do not use any flour, dairy, butter, or oil, they are a great go to option when you want a sweet snack without a long grocery list.

My favorite thing about this recipe is how soft the cookies turn out. Be sure to press your thumb into the center gently so you have plenty of room for a nice dollop of chocolate.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. 2

In a medium bowl, mix the peanut butter, sugar, and egg together until the dough is smooth and well combined.

  3. 3

Roll the dough into small balls, about one tablespoon each, and place them on your prepared baking sheet.

  4. 4

Use your thumb to gently press an indentation into the center of each cookie.

  5. 5

Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until the edges are just set.

  6. 6

Remove the tray from the oven and immediately place a few chocolate chips into the center of each indentation.

  7. 7

Let the cookies cool completely on the baking sheet so they firm up before you eat them.

๐Ÿ’ก Tips

Store these cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to five days. If you like a crunch, feel free to sprinkle a tiny pinch of sea salt over the chocolate while it is still soft.
