If you love the spiced caramel flavor of Biscoff, these rolls are going to be your new favorite. They are incredibly soft and fluffy, making them the perfect centerpiece for a slow weekend morning breakfast or a special brunch with friends.

My top tip for success is to make sure your milk is warm but not hot to the touch. If the milk is too hot, it will kill the yeast and the rolls will not rise properly.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1 packet instant yeast
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 large egg
  • 4 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup Biscoff cookie spread
  • 1/4 cup melted butter for filling
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Biscoff cookie spread for icing
  • 1 tablespoon milk for icing

Instructions

  1. 1

Combine the warm milk, yeast, sugar, melted butter, salt, and egg in a large bowl.

  2. 2

Gradually add the flour while mixing until a soft dough forms.

  3. 3

Knead the dough on a floured surface for about five minutes until it is smooth and elastic.

  4. 4

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise in a warm spot for one hour.

  5. 5

Roll the dough out into a large rectangle on a lightly floured surface.

  6. 6

Spread the Biscoff spread and melted butter over the dough, then sprinkle with the brown sugar and cinnamon.

  7. 7

Roll the dough up tightly into a log and slice it into twelve even pieces.

  8. 8

Place the rolls in a greased baking pan and let them rise for another thirty minutes.

  9. 9

Bake the rolls at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 to 25 minutes until they are golden brown.

  10. 10

Whisk the powdered sugar, Biscoff spread, and milk together to make the icing.

  11. 11

Drizzle the icing over the warm rolls before serving.

๐Ÿ’ก Tips

Store any leftover rolls in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days. You can also warm them in the microwave for ten seconds to get them soft again. These rolls are wonderful served with a hot cup of coffee or tea.
