This dish is a favorite in our house because it comes together in just twenty minutes. It has the perfect kick of spice that makes it feel like a takeout meal you can easily make in your own kitchen.

For the best results, have all your sauce ingredients mixed and ready to go before you turn on the stove. This helps the cooking process go smoothly since the noodles and pork cook up quite quickly.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces ramen or rice noodles
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup roasted cashews
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons chili garlic sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. 1

Boil the noodles according to the package directions, then drain them and set aside.

  2. 2

Whisk the soy sauce, chili garlic sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and minced garlic together in a small bowl to create your sauce.

  3. 3

Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium high heat.

  4. 4

Add the ground pork to the skillet and cook until it is browned and no longer pink.

  5. 5

Toss in the broccoli florets and cook for about 3 minutes until they are bright green and slightly tender.

  6. 6

Pour the sauce over the pork and broccoli, then add the cooked noodles into the pan.

  7. 7

Toss everything together for 2 minutes so the sauce coats the noodles evenly.

  8. 8

Remove from the heat and stir in the cashews before serving warm.

๐Ÿ’ก Tips

You can store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. If you prefer things less spicy, simply reduce the amount of chili garlic sauce to suit your taste. Serve these noodles with a sprinkle of green onions or sesame seeds for an extra nice touch.
