These little bats are a favorite in our house because they look so cute and taste like a dream. You only need a few store bought snacks to put them together, so they are perfect for when you need a quick dessert for a school party or a movie night.

My best tip is to use a tiny bit of extra peanut butter or melted chocolate to help the eyes stick firmly to the front of the bat. If your kitchen is a bit warm, pop the finished bats in the fridge for ten minutes so they set up perfectly.

Ingredients

  • 12 miniature Reese's peanut butter cups
  • 12 regular Oreo cookies
  • 24 candy eyes
  • 2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter or chocolate frosting

Instructions

  1. 1

Separate the Oreo cookies by twisting them gently so you have two halves, one with the cream filling and one without.

  2. 2

Take the halves without the cream and break each of them in half to create two wings.

  3. 3

Use a small dab of peanut butter or frosting on the back of each cookie piece and press them onto the sides of a miniature peanut butter cup.

  4. 4

Place two dots of peanut butter or frosting on the front of the peanut butter cup and press the candy eyes into place.

  5. 5

Repeat this process until you have used all your ingredients and let the bats set for a few minutes before serving.

๐Ÿ’ก Tips

Store these in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days. If you live in a very warm climate, keep them in the refrigerator to prevent the chocolate from melting.
