There is something special about a cookie that you can pop into your mouth in one bite. These tiny treats are packed with chocolate and have that classic soft center that everyone loves.

They are perfect for when you want a little something sweet without eating an entire full sized cookie. I like to keep a batch on hand for quick treats during the busy work week.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup mini semi sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. 2

In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy.

  3. 3

Beat in the egg and the vanilla extract until well combined.

  4. 4

Slowly stir in the flour, baking soda, and salt until a dough forms.

  5. 5

Fold in the mini chocolate chips.

  6. 6

Scoop small, half teaspoon portions of dough and place them on the prepared baking sheet.

  7. 7

Bake for 7 to 9 minutes until the edges are just barely golden brown.

  8. 8

Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before moving them to a wire rack.

๐Ÿ’ก Tips

Store these cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to five days. You can also freeze the raw dough balls to bake a few whenever you have a craving for a fresh cookie.
