If you love the taste of a brown sugar shaken espresso, you will adore starting your day with these oats. They capture that sweet, caffeinated goodness while giving you a hearty meal that keeps you full until lunch.

These are perfect for busy mornings when you need to grab something quick from the fridge. I like to prep a few jars at the start of the week so I have a grab and go breakfast ready to reach for whenever I am in a hurry.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1/2 cup cold brew coffee
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tablespoon chia seeds

Instructions

  1. 1

Combine the rolled oats, protein powder, brown sugar, cinnamon, and chia seeds in a small mason jar or bowl.

  2. 2

Pour in the cold brew coffee and the almond milk.

  3. 3

Stir everything well until the protein powder is fully dissolved and there are no dry clumps left.

  4. 4

Seal the container tightly and place it in the refrigerator for at least four hours, or ideally overnight.

  5. 5

Give the oats a quick stir before serving cold in the morning.

๐Ÿ’ก Tips

You can add a splash of extra almond milk in the morning if you prefer a thinner consistency. Store these in the fridge for up to three days, but they taste best within the first two. Adding a pinch of sea salt on top really makes the brown sugar flavor pop.
