There is something special about taking a classic sandwich and turning it into sliders for an easy party snack. These sliders have tender shaved beef, sweet onions, and plenty of melted cheese tucked into soft rolls.

My favorite thing about this recipe is how simple it is to prepare for a hungry crowd. Just make sure to brush the tops with the garlic butter because it makes the rolls golden and flavorful.

Ingredients

  • 12 pack of Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 1 pound thinly sliced deli roast beef or shaved steak
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 large yellow onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 8 slices provolone cheese
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

  2. 2

Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the onions and peppers until they are soft and golden.

  3. 3

Slice the entire pack of rolls in half horizontally so you have one large top piece and one large bottom piece.

  4. 4

Place the bottom layer of rolls into a greased baking dish.

  5. 5

Layer the cheese slices over the rolls followed by the cooked beef and the onion mixture.

  6. 6

Place the top half of the rolls over the filling.

  7. 7

Mix the melted butter, garlic powder, parsley, and salt in a small bowl and brush it over the tops of the rolls.

  8. 8

Cover the dish with foil and bake for 15 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for another 5 minutes until the tops are golden brown.

  9. 9

Slice into individual sliders and serve warm.

๐Ÿ’ก Tips

These sliders are best served hot straight from the oven while the cheese is still gooey. If you have leftovers, keep them in an airtight container in the fridge for two days and reheat them in the oven to keep the rolls from getting soggy.
