Lemon Parmesan Chicken Wings with Herby Yogurt Ranch
Crispy chicken wings tossed in bright lemon garlic butter and served with a refreshing homemade yogurt ranch dip.
dailyrecipesbook.comThese wings are my go to recipe when I want something flavorful and satisfying. The combination of zesty lemon and salty parmesan makes them stand out at any party or family dinner.
My best tip for the crispiest wings is to pat them dry with paper towels before you start cooking. Removing that extra moisture helps the skin get nice and golden brown.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds chicken wings
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon fresh chopped dill
- 1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley
Instructions
- 1
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- 2
Pat the chicken wings completely dry with paper towels then place them in a bowl.
- 3
Toss the wings with olive oil, salt, and pepper until they are evenly coated.
- 4
Arrange the wings on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 45 minutes until the skin is crispy and the meat is cooked through.
- 5
While the wings bake, stir together the Greek yogurt, dill, and parsley in a small bowl to make the ranch dip.
- 6
Melt the butter in a small pan over low heat and add the minced garlic, cooking for about one minute until fragrant.
- 7
Stir the lemon juice into the garlic butter.
- 8
Place the hot cooked wings in a large bowl and pour the garlic butter over them.
- 9
Add the parmesan cheese and toss everything together until the wings are well coated.
- 10
Serve warm with the herby yogurt ranch on the side.
๐ก Tips
Store leftover wings in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. You can reheat them in the oven at 350 degrees to get that crunch back. These wings pair beautifully with a simple side salad if you want to turn them into a full meal.
