There is nothing quite like a yogurt parfait to start your morning on the right foot. It is one of those simple pleasures that feels like a treat but is actually good for you, especially when you use your favorite fresh fruits.

I love making these because they take almost no time to put together. My best tip is to assemble the parfait right before you plan to eat it so the granola stays nice and crunchy instead of getting soggy in the yogurt.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain or vanilla Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup granola of your choice
  • 1/2 cup fresh berries like strawberries, blueberries, or raspberries
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup for drizzling
  • A pinch of ground cinnamon or fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. 1

Wash the berries thoroughly and pat them dry with a paper towel.

  2. 2

Slice any large berries into bite sized pieces.

  3. 3

Spoon about half of the yogurt into the bottom of a glass or a bowl.

  4. 4

Add a layer of granola over the yogurt.

  5. 5

Top the granola with a handful of your fresh berries.

  6. 6

Repeat the layers once more until all ingredients are used.

  7. 7

Drizzle the honey over the top and add a sprinkle of cinnamon or a fresh mint leaf if you like.

๐Ÿ’ก Tips

You can prep your fruit the night before to save time. If you want a more portable option, layer everything in a mason jar with a lid to take to work. Store leftover granola in an airtight container to keep it fresh.
