There is nothing quite like a bowl of fresh fruit on a warm day, especially when peaches are in peak season. I love how the sweetness of the peaches pairs with other summer berries to create a snack that everyone at the table actually wants to eat.

The secret is the simple dressing made with honey and citrus. It keeps the fruit looking fresh and adds a lovely zing that brings all the flavors together. If you have leftovers, they taste even better after an hour in the fridge.

Ingredients

  • 4 large ripe peaches, sliced into wedges
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup green grapes, halved
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh orange juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon lime zest

Instructions

  1. 1

Start by washing all your fruit and patting it dry with a clean towel.

  2. 2

Slice the peaches into bite sized wedges and place them in a large mixing bowl.

  3. 3

Add the strawberries, blueberries, and grapes to the bowl with the peaches.

  4. 4

In a small jar or bowl, whisk together the honey, lime juice, orange juice, and lime zest until the honey is fully dissolved.

  5. 5

Drizzle the citrus dressing over the fruit and toss everything gently so you do not bruise the soft peaches.

  6. 6

Serve the salad right away or let it chill in the refrigerator for thirty minutes to let the flavors blend.

๐Ÿ’ก Tips

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two days. You can add a few sprigs of fresh mint on top for extra fragrance, or swap the honey for agave nectar if you want to make it vegan.
