If you love the taste of sourdough but do not have the time to maintain a starter, these rolls are perfect for you. They come together with just three ingredients and require zero effort when it comes to mixing or kneading.

These are wonderful for busy mornings when you want fresh bread without the long wait. My best tip is to use high quality blueberry preserves for the filling since it really impacts the final flavor of your rolls.

Ingredients

  • 1 tube refrigerated sourdough or crescent roll dough
  • 1/2 cup blueberry preserves
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. 2

Unroll the dough on a flat surface and separate it into individual triangles.

  3. 3

Spread a small spoonful of blueberry preserves onto the wide end of each dough triangle.

  4. 4

Roll the dough up starting from the wide end towards the point to form the rolls.

  5. 5

Place the rolls on your prepared baking sheet and brush the tops lightly with the melted butter.

  6. 6

Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until they turn a beautiful golden brown.

  7. 7

Let them cool for a few minutes before serving warm.

๐Ÿ’ก Tips

Store any leftovers in an airtight container for up to two days. You can refresh them by popping them in the oven for a few minutes. These rolls are delicious served warm with a little extra butter or a drizzle of icing.
