Quick Frozen Summer Berry Sorbet Treats
A refreshing and budget friendly frozen dessert you can whip up in minutes using simple ingredients.
When the summer heat rolls in, nothing beats a cold treat to cool you down. These frozen berry cups are my favorite way to enjoy a sweet dessert without spending a fortune at the store.
They are incredibly simple to make and perfect for keeping in the freezer whenever a craving strikes. I love adding a little splash of juice to bring all the flavors together.
Ingredients
- 2 cups frozen mixed berries
- 1/2 cup apple or grape juice
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
Instructions
- 1
Place your frozen berries, juice, honey, and lemon juice into a blender.
- 2
Blend everything on high until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- 3
If the mixture is too thick to blend, add another splash of juice one tablespoon at a time.
- 4
Scoop the sorbet into small bowls or freezer safe containers.
- 5
Serve immediately for a soft texture or freeze for one hour if you prefer a firmer scoop.
๐ก Tips
Store any leftovers in an airtight container for up to two weeks. If it gets too hard in the freezer, let it sit on the counter for five minutes before scooping. You can also add a few fresh mint leaves on top for a nice pop of color.
