Grilled peaches are one of my favorite ways to turn ripe summer fruit into a treat that feels truly special. The heat of the grill brings out their natural sweetness and adds a touch of smoky flavor that pairs perfectly with something cold like vanilla ice cream.

They take only a few minutes to prepare and require just a handful of ingredients. I love how quickly they come together, making them a fantastic option when you want a warm dessert without spending hours in the kitchen.

Ingredients

  • 4 large ripe peaches, halved and pitted
  • 2 tablespoons melted unsalted butter
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg, optional

Instructions

  1. 1

Oil your grill grates well and preheat your grill or grill pan to medium high heat.

  2. 2

Brush the cut sides of the halved peaches with the melted butter.

  3. 3

Place the peaches on the grill with the cut side down and cook for 3 to 5 minutes, or until you see nice grill marks.

  4. 4

In a small bowl, stir together the brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, and nutmeg.

  5. 5

Flip the peaches over and sprinkle the sugar mixture onto the cut side. Cover the grill or pan with a lid and cook for about 2 minutes until the sugar melts into a bubbly glaze.

  6. 6

Remove the peaches from the heat and serve them warm, ideally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

๐Ÿ’ก Tips

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days. When you want to eat them again, warm them in the air fryer at 350 degrees for about 3 minutes to keep them from getting mushy in the microwave.
